The Sindh provincial government has announced that May 1 will be observed as a public holiday throughout the region in celebration of International Labour Day. This significant occasion pays homage to the invaluable contributions of workers and underscores the ongoing commitment to safeguarding their rights.
According to an official directive from the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, all public and semi-public offices will remain closed on this day. The closure will also encompass educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, allowing students and staff to participate in the commemoration.
